Family
Demeter was a daughter to Cronus and Rehear. She had five siblings- three brothers: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, and two sisters: Hestia and Hera. She was a wife to her brother, Hades. She was a mother to Persephone, Areion, Despoine, Eubouleus, Khrysothemis, and Korybas. Persephone was the goddess of the underworld. Areion was an immortal horse. Despoine, daughter of Demeter and Poseidon, was the goddess of certain Arkadian Mysteries. Eubouleus, son of Demeter and Karmano, was the demi-god of the plouged earth. Khrysothemis, daughter of Demeter and Karmanor, was the demi-goddess of the harvest festival. Korybas, son of Demeter and Isaion, was the leader of Samothracian Korybantes.
